About the Event

International Women in STEM & Medicine Symposium 2025

Join us for the International Women in STEM & Medicine Symposium (IWSMS) 2025 on Monday, 24 March 2025 at The Academia in Singapore, in celebration of International Women's Day!

This event brings together women and male allies from diverse backgrounds and nonprofit organizations in Singapore, united in advancing women's roles in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), medicine, and healthcare. Our goal is to empower women to reach new heights as scientists, medical researchers, doctors, and leaders in healthcare and industry.

As an annual gathering, the symposium provides a platform to recognize the efforts of institutions and organizations in promoting equitable gender policies through a collective voice. The program builds on discussions from previous symposia, focusing on fostering workplace equity and supporting women in STEM and medicine as they advance in their careers.

Leveraging the International Women's Day 2025 theme of "Accelerate Action," the IWSMS 2025 program emphasizes actionable strategies to advance gender equity and workplace diversity in STEM and medicine through fresh intergenerational and intersex dialogues.

The event’s highlights include keynote addresses, panel discussions, and smaller breakout sessions to encourage in-depth conversations and networking.

IWSMS 2025 is open to all professionals and students in the fields of STEM, healthcare, and medicine, and we welcome male allies to join. Registration is free, so sign up today!

We look forward to seeing you there!
